So by now February and March have come and gone. And I can’t tell you how blessed I have been during the last few months. February came and went. But not before the arrival of my beautiful niece Ava! She joined our fabulous family on Valentines Day. It was the best Valentines Day ever. On Saint Patrick’s Day we celebrated Ava’s arrival with a “Zero Birthday” Party. I had a great time that night just spending time with my oldest brother and his new little family. That whole evening was filled with food, family and fun. I couldn’t ask for more. Those holidays were so busy but so worth every moment. I wouldn’t have changed a thing. Everything was so perfect.
March also meant it was my younger brother Spencer’s 18th birthday. For his birthday we had a great party here at home. Also, Spencer got a new puppy that we all adore. He named the puppy Cash, after Johnny Cash. We all adore the puppy. He’s such a sweet dog!
March also meant CP AWARENESS MONTH. And the NATIONAL CEREBRAL PALSY DAY was on March 26th. We did as we have now for a couple years, we thanked God for the blessings that having cerebral palsy has presented in my life. For example, having this condition has brought with it many opportunities to educate my community on the importance of self advocacy. I have also been very blessed to get share my personal testimony throughout our community and surrounding areas. Among so many other things that I count as blessings. All of those many things were celebrated throughout the month of March around here. 🙂
